What we collect
When you buy a series, join the free series, book a retreat or create an account, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, password (stored securely, never visible to us), profile photo if you add one, and your timezone so your morning email arrives at the right time.
For retreat bookings we also ask for your phone number, emergency contact, dietary needs, health or allergy notes, travel details and room preferences. These are used only to look after you during the retreat.
Payment details are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver what you paid for: your daily emails, your account, your retreat booking, and gift deliveries to people you name. We also use it to reply when you write to us, and to understand in broad terms how the site is doing so we can improve it.
This site uses the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email to anyone who has not asked for it.
Comments and community
Comments you leave on a morning reflection are visible to other members reading the same series. Your display name and profile photo appear beside them. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing with a kind but public room.
Your choices
You can stop the free series emails at any time with the link at the bottom of each email. You can cancel a membership whenever you like. You may ask us to correct or delete your account and personal information by writing to mizi@miziwahid.com.
Keeping it safe
Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers, who maintain industry-standard security. Access within our small team is limited to what is needed to run the site and the retreats.
Questions
Write to mizi@miziwahid.com and we will answer personally.
